ACTIVE INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT PROGRAM (IOP)
Experience flexible, structured support through our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) in Denver, designed to help you maintain recovery while balancing daily responsibilities.
At True North Recovery Services, our Active IOP isn’t your typical treatment program. Built for individuals who are ready to fully engage in their recovery—physically, mentally, and emotionally—this program fuses clinical therapy with structured physical movement to create real, lasting transformation.
This is recovery with momentum.
Program Format
Active IOP meets three days per week. Each session lasts 3 hours and includes:
- 1.5 hours of structured movement-based work (strength, mobility, breathwork, or recovery-focused fitness)
- 1.5 hours of evidence-based group therapy (CBT, DBT, relapse prevention, and emotional processing)
This structure is intentionally designed to activate the nervous system, build resilience, and prime the brain for deeper therapeutic work.
Clinicians Who Walk the Walk
Each group is facilitated by clinicians who are dual-trained in both therapy and fitness. Their credentials include:
Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC) & Certified Addiction Specialists (CAS)
NASM Certified Personal Trainers
Precision Nutrition Coaches
Yoga and Trauma-Informed Somatic Movement Specialists
