The Trailhead program offers a comprehensive, structured curriculum that supports each participant’s journey toward independence and a fulfilling life in recovery. Here’s an overview of Trailhead’s core areas:

Employment Readiness

Achieving meaningful employment is a vital step toward self-confidence and independence. Our employment readiness curriculum includes resume building, job search strategies, interview preparation, and networking skills. With a focus on self-assessment, goal setting, and hands-on skill development, participants gain the tools and confidence to secure employment in fields that align with their strengths and goals.

Recovery Skills

Sustaining recovery involves both practical tools and a supportive community. In the recovery skills curriculum, participants learn strategies for managing triggers, setting personal goals, and fostering healthy relationships. Through peer-led coaching and structured sessions, each person builds a personalized recovery plan, including relapse prevention, mindfulness, and community support.

Fitness & Nurtrition

Physical wellness is crucial to maintaining a balanced and fulfilling lifestyle. With nutrition-focused meals provided and a gym membership included, participants are supported in developing healthy habits that complement their recovery journey. The fitness and nutrition curriculum covers creating a balanced workout routine, understanding proper nutrition, and the link between physical activity and mental wellness.

Mental & Spiritual Health

A strong foundation in mental and spiritual wellness is essential for building resilience and self-awareness. Our combined mental and spiritual health curriculum addresses managing anxiety, coping with stress, and practicing emotional regulation, as well as exploring a personal sense of purpose and spirituality. Through discussions, mindfulness techniques, and self-reflection, participants gain tools for inner peace and personal growth, strengthening both mental health and spiritual resilience.

Financial Literacy

Financial stability is a cornerstone of long-term recovery. Our financial literacy curriculum includes budgeting, managing debt, and building savings, empowering participants to take control of their finances and reduce stress. By equipping participants with these skills, Trailhead supports a foundation of financial independence and stability.

Community

Community plays a vital role in healing, connection, and sustained recovery. Through shared experiences, peer support, and group involvement, participants build meaningful relationships rooted in trust and accountability. Our supportive and encouraging environment helps individuals develop a sense of belonging while strengthening communication, empathy, and personal responsibility.
